Amazingly curtains can be multi-functional. Obviously everyone is aware of the most common usage which is using curtains on windows. When using curtains on windows it is usually done for two reasons. The first reason one uses curtains to cover window is practical in nature. Curtains may be used to block any incoming sunlight. In other words, the use of curtains allows an individual to regulate the amount of sun that comes in through the transparent window. The second reason one uses curtains to cover windows is aesthetical. When one goes about designing their home interior, usually curtains provide an accessory which serves to provide a quality that is pleasing to the eye.
Another instance wherein one can use curtains is when using them as a divider, or partition, between rooms within a residential setting. This is a very good option to utilize when an individual can not afford to perform construction on their house. Also, this provides a great option for renters as most landlords do not allow any alterations of the property. Many different types of curtains may be use to serve as room partitions. Essentially when deciding on a particular type of curtain one should get the one which is most aesthetically pleasing as
long as that curtain entails the proper dimensions.
Yet another modern marvel that curtains serve is that of a shower curtain. A shower curtain functions by impeding the water that is reflected and dispersed when taking an individual takes a shower. Ultimately a shower curtain saves people the hassle of having to clean up the water that otherwise would end up on the floor due to the trajectory and reflection. Just as with any other curtain one needs to get proper measurements and choose one that is aesthetically pleasing when purchasing a shower curtain.
In some instances a curtain may be used in musical and theater productions. These types of curtains are exponentially bigger than "regular" curtains as they serve to cover up the entire stage in between acts. Essentially these curtains enable performers to change settings and costumes in between acts in order to hide the this distraction from the audience.
The final purpose a curtain may be used for is as a door. If one wants to be creative rather than using a regular old wooden door then they may hang a curtain from the door frame. This is also a valid option for an individual that can not afford to purchase a wooden or metal door. Essentially this serves much in the same manner a stage curtain, in so far as it provides a privacy facade blocking what is going on from on room to the next.
